This trim ring is an exactly the same part you would receive from GM. High quality manufactured from true stainless steel unlike the yellow tinted Chinese imports. Replaces original GM part# 9796696. Original trim rings mounted to the edge of the wheel lip. Due to trim rings coming off while driving, the Federal Government started requiring trim rings to have full rim mounting clips.
