That is why we stock over 99% of the parts offered on this web store at all times. This saves our customers, time, back order shipping costs, and avoids delaying your restoration.
The shopping cart invoice or the store invoice will indicate any back ordered items. If you do not wish to wait for your back order, you can simply delete the item from your order at that time. Each and every item in our web store displays a “LIVE” Inventory. All parts listings will indicate “In Stock Available” or “Back Ordered”. If an item is in stock at the time you place your order, you will receive the part promptly. Back orders are shipped as soon as they become available.
Please note: Heartbeat City will ship all back ordered items at our expense, excluding special orders items, overweight or dimensional weight items. Air Shipments and truck freight items are not eligible for free back order shipping.

Heartbeat City sells many different color related parts from a variety of different manufacturers. The most common occurrence of color variations are found in the interior section. From time to time you may see a slight color or shade variation between any given parts. For this reason, we cannot accept these parts for return as defective merchandise. You are always welcome to return the parts if you are not completely satisfied.

Customs, Duties, Taxes
Customs procedures and import taxes or duties vary substantially by country. For this reason, the customer is responsible for knowing and paying all applicable fees that may be incurred from importing goods. We adhere to the highest standards and integrity in all aspects of our business; therefore, we will not make false statements or mark any shipment as a gift or otherwise misrepresent the contents of the shipment. We fully appreciate your understanding in this matter.
Heartbeat City will package your items with thought and care. In the rare event you have a damage claim, we require you to notify us within 48 hours of the damage. If you receive a package, and the package appears to have suffered any damage, please open your package in the presence of the delivery person.
After careful inspection, if you find any parts damaged, please contact a Heartbeat City customer service representative. In the event that you require another part immediately, we will ship you a replacement part within 48 hours and credit your credit card upon inspection of the merchandise and the completion of the damage claims process.
Damage Claim Procedure
Please contact our customer service department within two business days. After inspection of the damaged goods, we will issue a damage call tag through our shipping carrier. The carrier will pick up the damaged merchandise at your address and return the damaged items to us. This process will eliminate inconvenience and expense to you our customer. Our customer service department will send you a replacement part after the product has been returned to Heartbeat City from the shipping carrier.
In order to insure your damaged part is replaced in a timely manner, please be sure to return all damaged goods to us in their original box with the original packaging materials. Failure to do so may result in your claim being denied. It is essential that someone is available at the pick up address to give the damaged package to the carrier when they arrive to retrieve the merchandise. Clients who cannot be present when the carrier comes to pick up the damaged goods may be required to return the items at their own expense.

Heartbeat City assembles kits that are comprised of many different parts supplied by a variety of manufacturers. From time to time a specific kit item may be back ordered. The customer may specify whether or not they would like partial kits shipped. Heartbeat City will pay to ship all remaining kit items when they arrive at our warehouse. Free back order shipping excludes overweight, dimensional weight and truck freight items.
Price Matching & Comparisons
Heartbeat City may choose to match or beat any competitors advertised price, provided the part or item in question is exactly the same as what we sell. Please remember Heartbeat City assembles and sells the finest kits and products available for your Camaro. You may see an advertisement for any given kit that may not be identical. For example: The 1969 Rally sport Conversion Kit. When Heartbeat City assembles a kit, we choose the USA version of the headlight switch over the imported version. We also use the highest quality chrome headlamp door inserts. Another example is the color coded Rally sport headlight hose kit. Our Rally sport kits include the correct Rally sport hose kit with the correct fittings and tie-straps. A further example is the Rally sport tail light lens. We use the CHQ versions, which in our opinion, is the finest available. Many companies choose the most inexpensive parts available to offer what appears to be the best price. In reality, you may receive inferior or lesser quality parts than are available. We consider an advertised price to be the current catalog price or an advertised price in any current publication. Please remember the parts in question must be identical and manufactured by the same company.

Parts and Product Availability

Heartbeat City identifies the passenger side of the car as RH or right hand and the driver side of the car as the LH or left hand. Both sides are determined by sitting in the driver seat facing forward.
Heartbeat City accepts MasterCard, Visa, Discover, American Express, PayPal, checks, money orders, bank wire transfers, and cash. Please have your credit card and security code ready when placing your order. When paying by check, all funds must clear before shipment.
PayPal is accepted for all parts and services we offer. All PayPal orders must be shipped to the PayPal account holders confirmed PayPal address.
We respect our customers privacy. Heartbeat City does not sell, lease, or furnish your personal information or order history to anyone.
All parts returned are subject to a 20% restocking fee. There is no restocking fee when you request a store credit instead of a credit to your credit card.
All parts or products returned for a store credit will not incur a restocking fee.
All parts or products returned that were paid for with a credit card are subject to a 20% restocking fee.
All parts or products returned that were paid for by PayPal are subject to a 10% restocking fee.
Please note any parts returned with shipping labels, paint or primer, dirty boxes, or in any condition that warrants repackaging, we will be forced to charge a 50% restocking fee. The same policy applies to part improperly packaged.
Any returns submitted after 30 days from the date of purchase may or may not be eligible for credit or refund. Please contact customer service for more details.
If you need to return a part for a refund, part exchange, or store credit, please contact customer service for a return authorization number and further instructions. Heartbeat City will not accept returned goods without prior authorization. The customer is responsible for shipping costs incurred on all returned parts. All literature, printed or reading materials, stencil kits, stripe kits, electrical parts, gauges, wiring harnesses, switches, etc. are non-returnable. If any product is modified, altered, painted, installed or disassembled in any way without Heartbeat City’s expressed written permission, the item is non-returnable. Heartbeat City recommends professional installation of all parts. Any item which has been altered, painted, installed or deemed non-resalable by Heartbeat City will be returned to the customer at the customer’s expense.
Under no circumstances will Heartbeat City be responsible or liable for labor fees associated with the installation, removal, modification, painting, or repair of any product. Heartbeat City is not responsible for any damage or discoloration incurred in to use of chemical products including, but not limited to, cleaners, waxes, polishes, and paint products.
Heartbeat City does not collect sales tax for any state other than Michigan. Michigan residents and customers purchasing parts and products at our retail facility are responsible for paying Michigan sales tax. The current sales tax rate is 6%. Michigan sales tax will apply to Michigan residents for all internet sales including eBay purchases.
Sales Tax Exemptions
Any Michigan businesses claiming an exemption from sales tax must furnish a current valid resale certificate and appropriate documents from the State of Michigan. You are responsible for having the proper documentation submitted prior to placing your order.
Please inspect the contents of your package(s) to insure that all parts ordered were received. If you are missing any item(s) please be sure to check for back orders indicated on your invoice before calling our customer service department.
If a shortage has occurred, please contact our customer service department within 24 hours of delivery to insure a proper resolution. Heartbeat City will assume no responsibility after this period of time.
