Reproduction round traction bar with bushings pre-installed. Rod mounts on the passenger side only. Typically the round bar was used on early Z/28 and SS-350 models built between November 8th 1966 and Feburary 23rd 1967. The Factory Assembly Manual shows the part as cancelled as of Feburary 23, 1967. This is when the square traction bar replaced the round traction bar. Square bar illustrations are shown in section UPC L78 A8. The purpose was to counter wheel hop due to the mono-leaf rear springs. The Assembly Manual shows an illustration in UPC L48 B3. Replaces original GM part# 3914808. Made in the USA! | |
