This adaptor is used to convert water pumps for the 1967-1968 Z/28 from 3/4" to the correct 1/2" pipe plug design. Many rebuilders over the years opened the 1/2" hole for the bypass on the waterpump to the 3/4" hole for use on Corvettes.
