| Description | 1968 Camaro Chevelle Nova, Impala, 396-375 hp, 427 Nickey, 427 Yenko, Valve cover kit. Kit features show quality assembly line correct big block valve covers with oil drippers, spark plug wire looms, valve cover bolts and retainers, PCV grommet, valve cover elbow grommet, valve cover elbow, Tonawanda valve cover decal, and a pair of correct silver cork valve cover gaskets.The 1968 Camaro valve covers are unique because the driver side valve cover has no tabs welded on the side of the valve cover at the intake or on the bottom side of the valve cover to accommodate the temp sender wire and a dimple at the top rear of the cover facing the firewall. 1968 Camaros had the temp sender mounted in the side of the driver side cylinder head. The passenger side valve cover has the L bracket or 2 wire spark plug wire stand welded exactly 3 inches from the center of the cover. The driver side valve cover has the spark plug wire stand welded forward of the first valve cover mounting bolt as original. You can review an illustration of the temp sender wire installation by opening your Factory Assembly Manual to UPC U17 A3 item# 10. These covers replace original GM part# 3947883 LH & 3925574 RH.
