| Description | Air cleaner assembly, open element, This is the economy version. The lid and base are thinner than the OE style units we offer under part# EGP-1773. Comes with square mesh element and stenciled chrome lid. Fits: 302 Z/28, 396, 427 with Holley or Quadrajet carburetor. Includes gloss black body with attached breather tube (1" hose), air filter and reproduction chrome plated lid. This air cleaner replaces original GM part# 6423907. NOTE: Spacer required for aftermarket carbs with electric choke. Officially Licensed GM Restoration Parts. We also offer the correct chrome wing nut EGP-1781, Q-jet carburetor stud EGP-1721, EGP-1733 Holley carburetor stud. Applications: 1967-69 Camaro 302, 396, 1968-1969 Nova 396, 1966-1969 Chevelle 396, 1965-1969 Fullsize Chevy 427, 1965-1972 Corvette. This unit can be view in the Factory Assembly Manuals under UPC Z28 A5 or L35 A8 (1967), L34 A3 (1968), L34 A7 or Z28 A5 (1969). |
