1970 Chevelle LS6 454-450 HP M22 4.10 Survivor Car
Here is your chance to own a very special and a very rare car. This LS6 Chevelle is almost completely original and is one of the nicest survivors we have ever seen.
The purchase includes the original bill of sale from Elkhart Chevrolet. This LS6 car features the original engine, transmission, rear axle and all components. Even the smog system has never been removed. Photographs show the original engine and transmission stamping. We are willing to stand behind this car in writing.
The original 75 year old owner is still alive and well and lives in Wisconsin. We have his contact information and this will be furnished to the purchaser after the sale. He is a great guy who served in the US Army during the Vietnam war, He was awarded the Purple Heart. I have spoken with him and we may be taking the car to visit him at his home. The gentleman sold the car in 1973 and hasn't seen it for 50 years. What a sight for him to see it again. The car is in the same condition as when he sold it back in 1973.
You won't find too many cars on this level and you will rarely get the opportunity to buy one. This Chevelle checks all the boxes: Rarity, Collectibility, desirability and originality, plus it is fully documented. Soon I will remove the seats and door panels in search of any original build sheets. I don't know if anyone has looked for them previously. I don't think anyone has at this point.
This Chevelle is one of the nicer optioned LS6 cars you will find anywhere.
